Red Wave Travel Terms of Sale

Red Wave Travel acts as an independent travel agent specialising in cruise-only bookings. We arrange bookings on behalf of clients with third-party cruise operators. At present, our primary cruise partner is Virgin Voyages.

Red Wave Travel acts solely as a booking agent and intermediary. We do not operate cruises, provide cruise services or control itineraries, onboard services or operational decisions.

These Terms of Sale govern the relationship between Red Wave Travel and the client in respect of the agency services provided.

The contract for the cruise itself is made directly between the client and Virgin Voyages and is governed by Virgin Voyages’ UK Ticket Contract, Conditions of Carriage and related policies as published by Virgin Voyages at the time of booking.

In the event of any conflict, Virgin Voyages’ terms shall prevail in respect of the cruise booking. Clients are responsible for reviewing and accepting Virgin Voyages’ terms at the time of booking.

Red Wave Travel does not process payments, store card details or receive monies on behalf of clients. Payment schedules, deposits and final balance deadlines are set by Virgin Voyages and are governed by their terms.

All prices quoted are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking. Prices may change at any time until a booking is confirmed by Virgin Voyages.

Promotional fares, inclusions and incentives may be withdrawn or amended by Virgin Voyages without notice.

From time to time, Red Wave Travel may offer discretionary incentives such as Sailor Loot or Bar Tab. Unless otherwise stated:

• Incentives have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash
• Incentives are non-transferable unless explicitly confirmed in writing by Red Wave Travel
• Incentives may be withdrawn if booking conditions are breached or if a booking is cancelled or materially amended

Any incentive is separate from Virgin Voyages’ obligations under their own terms.

All changes, cancellations and refunds are governed solely by Virgin Voyages’ terms. Red Wave Travel cannot guarantee approval of changes or cancellations nor refund amounts nor refund timelines.

Any refunds due are processed by Virgin Voyages in accordance with their terms.

Where Virgin Voyages permits resale, reassignment or transfer of a booking, including legacy or premium bookings, Red Wave Travel may assist with administration.

• A non-refundable administration fee of 3% of the total booking value will apply
• This covers admin handling, time spent, liaison with Virgin Voyages and associated bank or payment fees
• The fee becomes payable once work has commenced and applies even if resale or transfer is not completed

Red Wave Travel cannot guarantee that resale or transfer will be approved by Virgin Voyages or successfully completed.

Red Wave Travel’s liability is limited to the agency services it directly provides.

We shall not be liable for acts or omissions of Virgin Voyages, changes to itineraries pricing or onboard services, delays cancellations or disruptions, force majeure events or indirect or consequential losses.

As cruise-only bookings are made directly with Virgin Voyages and no client funds are held by Red Wave Travel, bonding or ATOL protection does not apply to our agency services.

Any passenger protections are provided by Virgin Voyages in accordance with their own terms and policies.

Red Wave Travel is a member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), reflecting professional standing and specialist knowledge within the cruise industry.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and is shared only where necessary to fulfil your booking or provide requested services.

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
